How do I review all evidence assigned to a code?

1 min readCoding and memos

Overview

Select a code’s evidence count or retrieval action to open Retrieved Evidence. The table lists the source, evidence type, location, code, quotation or preview, and memo. You can include subcodes, open an item in its source, unassign an incorrect code while keeping the source file, or select several rows and use “Move selected to…” to place them under another existing code or a new one.

What to do

  1. Decide whether the review should include child codes.
  2. Read evidence in context rather than relying only on short previews.
  3. Correct ranges, or move or unassign coding that does not fit the definition.
  4. To split a code, tick the rows, choose “Move selected to…”, then pick a code or “+ New code…”.
