Can the AI Assistant draft my Evidence Matrix summaries?

2 min readAnalysis

Overview

Yes, in two steps. Open AI Assistant → Evidence Matrix summaries. Step 1 drafts a short summary (about 40 words) for each empty cell. Step 2, Code summaries, drafts one summary for each code that has text in at least two files, saying what the files share and where they differ (about 70 words). Nothing is saved until you accept it. The Assistant shows how many AI credits the run will use and asks you to confirm first.

What to do

  1. Choose the files and codes you want drafts for.
  2. Confirm the credits, then run the cell summaries.
  3. Review each draft: edit it, accept it or discard it. Accepted drafts appear in the matrix.
  4. Run Code summaries whenever you want them; they do not depend on the cell summaries.
  5. Drafts you have not reviewed are kept for you, even if you close the page or sign out. You find them again when you reopen the Evidence Matrix or the Assistant. They are private to you and are removed after 30 days.
