How do I get all my data out of Byleron QDA?
Overview
Your project content stays yours and you can take it with you at any time. Export a project as native JSON for the most complete backup, or as a REFI-QDA project (QDPX) to open it in another qualitative analysis tool. Original source files should be kept in your own archive as well, because an export contains the project, not a guarantee of every original file. Results Builder drafts download as Word files, and tables and figures download as CSV and PNG.
What to do
- Open the project and choose Export project.
- Choose native JSON for a full backup, or QDPX to move to another tool, and read the compatibility report.
- Download the file and store it in your approved research archive.
- Repeat for each project you want to keep.
